Our friends at the Center for Civic Design are looking for people to help test some new ballot designs and voter education materials, to help make voting a better experience.
If you live and vote in San Francisco or Alameda County, they'd love to have you participate in their research study.
What will you be doing?
You will test election results reporting, ballot designs and other voting information and share your reactions to them.
These materials have nothing to do with the recent election. We are not interested in who you vote for - just how you learn about elections and how to mark your ballot.
Where will the usability testing take place?
Monday, December 12 from 1-5pm
San Francisco south of Market near the Civic Center BART
Tuesday, December 13 in 11am to 4pm
Downtown Oakland near the 12th Street BART
Appointments will last approximately 45 minutes.
You will be able to sign up for a specific time also.
What will you get?
First, our sincere gratitude for being part of this research. And, in respect for your time a payment of $40.
What’s next?
If you are interested, write to Whitney at [email protected].
Because they are looking for a good range of different types of voters, let her know:
- Year you were born
- Your job (like bookkeeper, teacher, software sales)
- The last election you voted in
If you are selected for the project, she will get in touch to schedule your appointment.
